Host a public debate with US youth, in which they prompt the participants:

1. whether Israel is an ally of the US, (Was this outside the Overton Window for someone like Charlie?)
2. whether the US should force AIPAC to register as a foreign agent. Neither debater said they were fans of AIPAC, exposing influential young Republican voters to perspectives critical of Israeli interests?
3. whether the US should wind down foreign aid to Israel, in general. The crowd of young Republicans cheered this, something I imagine many Israel-supporters would not see as the mark of an “Israeli Patriot.”

Double-down defiance

And then after Kirk gets pushback from the likes of Bill Ackman, etc, he said that he’s going to double down on a Megyn Kelly episode. He shared a virtual “stage” with Kelly, who said Israel has made itself the villain of the world in in letting this thing go go on so long. Kirk adopted an attitude I would portray as the “loyal” or “legitimate critic”, rather than Israel loyalist.

Is the US “Overton Window” wide enough for someone like Kirk to be what one might call a “loyal/legitimate critic.” who questions questions like the above 3 points from the “Dave Smith” debate to an American conservative youth event, which is uploaded to YouTube?
