Rumors of a Lab Escape

There are some people who argue that we shouldn’t even been studying these sars like coronaviruses from bats in the lab which to me is preposterous right i mean ignorance is hardly ever the best choice that you’re going to make here i i think it’s actually quite a dangerous choice and that’s one of the problems with the you know all this emphasis now on on lab leaks and you know that that kind of thing it takes away energy from what we actually need to be doing which is cooperating with china

The letter urges  Merrick Garland to purse litigation agains the fossil fuel industry:

As early as 1959, Edward Teller warned the American Petroleum Institute that carbon emissions from the burning of fossil fuels would raise global temperatures. In 1975, Shell-backed research concluded that increasing atmospheric carbon concentrations could cause global temperature increases that would drive “major climatic changes” and compared the dangers of burning fossil fuels to nuclear waste.
